West Africa Peering Forum (WAPF) 2024

The West Africa Peering Forum (WAPF) is an annual event that brings together Internet Service Providers (ISPs), Content Providers (CPs), and other stakeholders in the telecommunications industry to discuss issues related to Internet interconnection and peering in West Africa.

Event Objectives
  • Promoting the development of a robust and sustainable Internet ecosystem in West Africa by encouraging local interconnection and peering among ISPs and CPs.
  • Providing a platform for knowledge sharing, capacity building, and networking among stakeholders in the West African telecommunications industry.
  • Showcasing best practices in Internet interconnection and peering from other regions and encouraging their adoption in West Africa.
  • Advocating for policy and regulatory reforms that support the growth of local interconnection and peering in West Africa.
